How we handle location, photos and scans.

Crew location

Crew location is recorded only while a route is running and only after the crew member consents. It is used to prove the work, to show clients the live map, and to pay for approved hours. Crew can withdraw consent in the app, which stops them from starting routes.

QR scans

When someone scans a code we log the time, a device class (iPhone, Android, desktop) and a salted one-way hash of their network address and browser, rotated daily. We do not store the raw address or the browser string. Bots are filtered out. Clients see counts by zone, person and hour, never individual people.

Photos

Crew photos are taken in public places for proof. Crew are told not to photograph identifiable people without consent. Clients and ops can hide any photo.
